The Original 30" Spa Teak Shower Bench with Shelf

I'm very happy I purchased this bench for my newly renovated shower instead of having a bench built in. It's attractive, sturdy and offers the option of moving to different locations. It turns out I needed the adjustable feet available with this model. What a great feature! I have discovered that the bench will tip if I sit close to the end on the narrow end, which I tried while putting on my shoes. Other than that, the bench is really stable. I put a couple of simple plastic totes on the lower bench to hold miscellaneous items. Assembly is very simple.

Purchased this bench for our steam shower as a replacement for an older one that was not worth the effort to refinish. This one is much sturdier and heavy, the wood slats are closer together, beautiful design and well made. The lower shelf is a nice bonus.

Bought this for a newly renovated shower and decided to have a teak bench instead of a built in bench. It looks beautiful against the white subway tiles. Adj. feet are great to level it. I do have one suggestion for buyers if you are putting this in your shower: Make sure you have enough space on the sides. Our one regret is that we should have ordered a smaller size so that we could squeegee the glass next to it. Problem solved by moving this larger bench beneath the window to use for clothes, towels, etc. and buying a smaller bench for the shower. --We used to keep a dining room chair there, which never looked quite right. We were going to order another bench for the window anyway, but wanted to wait to see if we liked the first one. We do.

Our new home had a huge shower with no bench! This worked out perfect.

I'm not sure how we lived without this teak shower bench before. We must have showered standing up, like Neanderthals or something. And where did we store our soap and shampoo? On the sides of the tub or, even worse, hanging in one of those doo-dads from the shower head? Perish the thought now that we have the bench. It eliminates the need for everything else in the shower but the shower. And if you haven't experienced a shower while sitting, you haven't lived.

Next to the steam, this is the best! It's perfect height, size and very comfortable. Great price!
