This teak shower stool caught my eye because of how unpretentious it is. It's not overwrought, doesn't throw gaudy design in your face. It's just simple, practical, elegant. I love the deep brown shade of the teak. It's got some heft to it, too, so you can definitely tell it's a quality piece of furniture.

For a perfect end table, choose teak furniture. This stool in particular is up to the task. It's made of lovely teak that matches the rest of the teak in my house, even though it is a little lighter than most. And it's just the right height to be level with the arms of our couch, so it was an easy decision.

The floor of our bath in inexplicably slippery all the time, so we thought this teak bath stool might give a good place to sit. And it does; the teak is waterproof and isn't slippery at all. Plus, it looks very handsome in our bathroom.
