Rounding up from a 4.5!

If you're looking for a laundry hamper better at its price point than the Crate and Barrel Dixon, this is what you want. Materials: Compared to the bamboo Dixon, Aqua Teak's Nila hamper is made of stronger teak wood that's been treated to perform with resilience in damp environments. I loved the dark wood look of the Dixon, but couldn't justify paying the price after reading reviews about the hamper growing moldy. Plus, my cats love to snooze on top of the hamper, so I wanted something sturdier than bamboo Assembly So easy - I was impressed by the thoughtful design of each component. My only complaint is that one hole in the lid piece didn't line up perfectly with the body piece. I had to widen the hole with a drill for the last screw to fit properly but that took about 10 seconds. Other than that, all the other pieces fit well with each other. I've received enough poorly drilled Ikea and Wayfair furniture to tell you that Aqua Teak's design is still MUCH better than other furniture manufacturers out there Features The bag included with the hamper attaches via velcro to the inside edges of the hamper. It also has a drawstring. It could stand to be thicker and sturdier for the amount of clothes that can go in this. But did I mention the lid stays open by itself until you close it again? Amazing

Pleased with my purchase

Smooth Transaction. Fast shipping. Instructions on Assembly were clear and easy to follow. Assembly was easy. Outstanding Craftsmanship . Very sturdy. I use to hide my plastic hamper in my closet. Now I set it by my dresser. Compliments my hard wood floors and teak furniture. Very pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely Love It!

Beautiful, sturdy teak hamper. The quality is great and reasonably priced. Should last a long time. Also the open/close feature is a nice added touch.
